A freshwater species, yellow perch is normally a seasonally harvested fish in the wild. But now there is Bell Perch – our unique brand of yellow perch that is available year-round. What makes Bell Perch special is the thinking and hard work we put into the quality of our product. Our farm-raised yellow perch have the same great taste as wild-caught, but with many benefits that wild-caught yellow perch will never have.
We’re working on using the “offal” (remains) from our processed yellow perch to create a natural liquid plant fertilizer called Fish Rich. Farmers have been using fish to see excellent plant results for hundreds of years. A hyrolysate product, Fish Rich is especially great for roses and house plants, but also good for anything that grows in the ground! We hope to be able to offer you this product by the end of 2010.
